It’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed since Amazon Music opened its proverbial doors. In 1998, music fans pounded the streets with their Discmen, half the acts on this disc hadn’t released their first albums yet, and record stores ruled the retail music game. But in the past decade, music has undergone huge changes.

To thank the millions of customers, artists, businesspeople, and fans who have helped make this possible, we present our 10th Anniversary compilation. The musicians herein represent some of the bestsellers among the Amazon community since 1998. Without knowing it, then, you nominated them for this musical testament to the past 10 years. They accepted, and they join us in celebrating the GRAMMY Foundation’s MusiCares program, which works tirelessly for the health and welfare of musicians nationwide.
