Debut album from Welsh four-piece, a mix of blistering pop in the vein of The Futureheads, Maximo Park and The Kaiser Chiefs. The band has often been compared to Super Furry Animals and The Kooks, but occupy their own space in the world of Britpop. They are eclectic and quirky but are also sharp, melodic and musically dynamic. With each single, the band's popularity seems to grow even stronger and the fans have become more fanatical than ever before. This is definitely one of the few bands in the charts that have made it due to talent and word-of-mouth instead of the over-used hype machine that cranks out mediocre bands by the dozen.
