Greatest hits packages come and go, but when you can claim 24 consecutive No. 1 radio singles, a feat unmatched in any genre, now that’s something worth celebrating. Which is exactly what Point of Grace does with 24. The double-disc collection is loaded with one gem after another, from the opening "Day By Day," a wonderfully superb new track that showcases the women’s textbook four-part harmonies, to the ending and equally excellent "Praise Forevermore." Even though worthwhile tracks from earlier in the group’s career now sound dated after 10 years, notables such as "The Song Is Alive," "Blue Skies," and "Circle of Friends" demonstrate how comfortable Denise, Shelly, Terry, and Heather have grown with each other over the years. Considering each member’s vocal talents (each is a soloists in her own right), 24 shows us a group of artists who don’t attempt to outperform one another. In humility and respect, these Girls of Grace prefer to blend their harmonies into one beautiful sound.
