Shadow Zone

Axel Rudi Pell, one of the most renowned and charismatic German rock guitarists, is about to release his thirteenth solo album, Shadow Zone. Like few other German musicians, Pell has been instrumental in moulding the national rock music landscape of the Eighties and Nineties, making a successful transition to the present. Shadow Zone is full of multi-layered material documenting an important piece of timeless German metal history. Over the years, Pell has consciously remained faithful to his compositional style, deliberately staying away from short-lived trends or supposed innovations but affording himself the luxury – to the delight of his many fans – of exclusively and uncompromisingly following his own preferences. He says: "I haven't reinvented metal, but I've remained faithful to myself. This implies that the basic style of my compositions has stayed the same. But I think the new tracks sound more mature and even more catchy than my previous albums." Step into the Shadow Zone!
