All the poems in this series begin with a line, or sometimes two lines, which are the openings of poems or songs by Leonard Cohen, a gathering of more than 200 fans of Leonard Cohen at McGill University in Montreal, May 12-14, 2000 for celebration of the life and works of the Canadian author, singer, song-writer, and poet.
