Abba's Letter of Love

Abba’s Letter of Love is about a fictitious being who represents a child of God. In childlike faith, he serves his father’s wishes. The father’s wishes and instructions to the child are from the Father’s inerrant Word as he guides his only son through the dark evils of a lighthouse tower. Star goes through much suffering as a messenger, and realizes that many will die if he does not deliver his message of love (John 3:16) to Dream and Star Town. This story serves as an analogy to tell of what Jesus Christ, as God and as man, went through to offer salvation to “whosoever.” Star suffers much in “being found in fashion as a man” (Phil. 2:8), but because of his love for Dream and Star Town he perseveres and delivers the message of love. This story also emphasizes the importance of partaking of, “so great a salvation,” (Heb. 2:3) and drinking deeply of Christ’s “…water of life freely” (Rev. 22:17), and growing as his obedient servant to “fight the good fight of faith…” (I Tim. 6:12).
