The Elevator Is Broken

The Elevator is Broken is a tool for students to use from third grade well into college. The purpose of this journal/workbook is to make students more productive in and outside of the classroom. Moreover, this journal/workbook assists students with not only identifying, but developing their leadership and decision-making skills. Students will be able to identify leadership characteristics, use hip-hop to decipher positive and negative messages, discuss various cultures and subcultures, understand the purpose of setting goals, and examine their personal past and present experiences of leadership and decision-making with enriching scenario exercises. This journal/workbook allows students to not only think about the skills they should possess, but articulate these skills as well. Lastly, this journal/workbook helps students with strengthening their study skills to be academically successful.
